What's on a SolarCards TCG Card?
This is the name of your Solarcard. It tells you which celestial object or anomaly you are playing (like Neptune, Europa, or Black Hole).
Shows the card’s celestial type, such as Moon, Planet, Star, or Galaxy, and its role in the game.
The release set the card belongs to (e.g., 1st edition, 2nd edition).
The specific number for that card in its set (e.g., #0009). Helps with collection and trading.
Extra info including Orbit (distance from Star), Temperature, and Rarity. Some stats may affect gameplay when specific cards or effects are in play.
The size of your celestial object in kilometers, representing battle power. The bigger Radius wins. Equal Radii end in a tie.
A fun fact or short lore about the object. These make the game more engaging and teach you about space while you play.
The sacrifice to play this card: Moon is free. Dwarf Planet costs 1 Moon. Planet costs 3 Moons or 1 Dwarf Planet. Star costs 3 Planets. Anomaly is played from hand then discarded.

Winning The Game
Summoning the Objective

You instantly win when you summon the card required for your chosen game type:
- Star Game: Star Card
- Galaxy Game: Galaxy Card
Score Victory

If all players run out of cards and no one summoned the winning card, count every card on the table:
| Card type | Points |
|---|---|
| 🌙 Moon | +1 |
| 🌑 Dwarf Planet | +3 |
| 🌍 Planet | +5 |
| ⭐ Star | +20 |
Highest score wins.
Example (Score Victory): Two players are playing the Galaxy Game, and cards have run out!
- Player A: 4 Moons (4 pts) + 4 Planets (20 pts) = 24
- Player B: 1 Star (20 pts) + 2 Dwarf Planets (6 pts) = 26
Player B wins!
Setting Up The Game
SolarCards can be played with 2 to 4 players, no matter the type (Planet, Star or Galaxy.)

Each player:
- Has their own deck
- Shuffles it
- Draws 5 cards
- Uses the space of the table in front of them as their play area
- Places their deck on the right and their discard pile on the left
Cards in your hand do not count as being in play until you summon them on the table.

Turn Structure
Every turn has four steps, in this order:
Follow The 4 Steps
Play an Anomaly
OptionalAnomalies add chaos, boosts, or special rules.
- Played before your action
- Most anomalies cost nothing
- Some anomalies replace your Action (they’ll say so)

Take 1 Action
RequiredYou must choose ONE of the following:

Place a card from your hand onto the table.
- Some cards are free
- Others require you to discard cards according to their summoning cost

Choose one of your cards in Attack Position (that is not being defended) and battle any enemy card in play.
- Compare radius values
- Higher radius wins
- Losing card is discarded

If you can’t play anything useful, discard up to 2 cards to cycle your hand.
- This counts as your action for the turn.
Move Your Cards
OptionalReposition any of your cards. This is where strategy happens.

Important Rules About Moving your Cards:
- You can only reposition cards after your action.
- If you want to attack on your next turn, put your strongest card in attack position and remove any defenses from it.
- Think carefully or you might leave your big cards exposed!
Draw Back to 5 Cards
RequiredDraw until you have exactly 5 cards in your hand.
Examples:
- If you played 1 card → draw 1
- If you played an anomaly and summoned a card → draw 2

Special Cases
QWhat happens if you can’t play any cards during your turn?
You must discard 1 or 2 cards and draw accordingly. If you still can’t play anything… you’re very unlucky, and your Action has ended.
QWhat happens if I lose my star or I don’t have enough cards in the deck to summon a star or galaxy? I can’t win anymore?
Yes you can, by points. Find a way to stop your enemy’s progress so you have more points by the end of the game. Certain anomalies can also bring back cards you lost.
QCan I have multiple cards of the same character?
You can only have a max of 2 cards of the same character. This also counts for characters that have multiple categories; for example, Triton having a moon/dwarf planet version, or Pluto having a planet/dwarf planet version.
